My friend, I wonder where you are…
Lina Musick, Feb. 2005
I look to the sky every now and then
And wonder if you ever think of me.
It has been quite some time since we sat down
To visit and share our dreams with each other.

Yep, I'm thinking about you. I think of you ever so often and wonder where you are.
What you might be doing,
What became of the music in your heart?
Did you follow that dream?
Did you climb your mountain?
I wonder where you are.

Did you find everything you dreamed of?
Or did you find a new path and a new dream?
Did you ever find “Prince Charming”?
Was he a Prince, or just a loveable toad?
I smile and wonder where you are.

I’ve searched the Internet hopping to find your name,
Your photo, or a site you may have set up.
Alas, my search has been in vain.
And again I wonder where you are.

Did you write a book, cut a record?
Or paint the masterpiece we spoke of?
Did you find your true love?
I wonder my friend where you are.

Did you move upstate?
Across the waters?
Do you live by the ocean, desert or mountains?
Did you end up in the city or out in the country?
My friend, I truly wonder where you are.

You are often in my prayers,
For God knows where you are.
I trust in Him to watch over you,
To pick you up when life gets you down.
I ask Him to hug you, because I cannot.
Again I wonder where you are.

‘Tis a slim chance that you will find this letter,
But it is written from my heart to yours.
It is my prayer that you would know
Your friendship has meant so much to me.
I treasure the memories we have shared.

We may have lost touch…but you are still in my heart.
It is my hope to see you on the other side of Heaven’s gates.
My friend, I’ll be looking for you.
Until then I'll wonder where you are.

From my heart to yours,
Lina Musick
